Fall Transition Pieces
One of the most frustrating fashion dilemmas as the seasons change, is deciding what to wear as the temps rise or fall. 🌡🤷♀️With the Fall transition, it’s often chilly in the morning, but can sometimes still warm up quite a bit in the afternoon before the temps plummet once again. So layering pieces are always a good choice. A great blazer is an excellent option. I’ve chosen this Double Breasted Plaid Blazer from Boston Proper. The styling is timeless, the quality superb, and it’s the perfect 3-4 season jacket. Plaid is very on trend for the Fall 2019 season as well.

I then paired the blazer with a pair of gorgeous split leg linen pants from Boston Proper. The linen is cool enough if the temps rise, but they also feel comfortable on a chilly morning. I went up a size based on reviews and they fit well, but since linen tends to stretch with wear, I could have probably gotten my normal size.

Underneath the jacket I’m wearing the Quarter Button Poplin shirt, also from Boston Proper. I like that the sleeves have roll tabs for versatile styling options. I went with an XS, which is my normal size, and it fit exactly as I had hoped. Which is fitted, but not skin tight.
